I finally found some time to write another blog post today. Although I missed one, I’m still thinking about posting another one to maintain my “two posts per week” goal.
My schedule got messed up due to our hectic activities these past few days. We were doing some errands and some personal stuff and I couldn’t find time to blog. I don’t like ruining my sked, nobody does but I can’t always control the time when unexpected things happen. So in order to combat the mess, I re-schedule, wait for free time and then work again.
Anyways, before I run out of time and get even more sleepy (since I’m writing this post late at night) here’s my latest lip product review for you ladies from the infamous Korean makeup brand – Étude House.
These are two of the top trending lip products that a lot of girls are raving about it – The Lip Tint & Matte lip finish. I’m sure you’re like me and always hunt for these babies so you can collect them. After all, these are two of their newly introduced product lines.
Let’s start with the Rose Tint Lips – this is a matte finish tint with a squeezable tube and a sponge applicator. Very light on the lips, not too drying and is easy to take off with a wet tissue. I really like the shade since it really suits my skin tone and the color is appropriate for daily use. But it’s not long lasting, it comes off easily when you eat and has just an okay pigmentation.
On the other hand, Sugar Tint Balm is a very pigmented lip stain. I’m very impressed with the opaqueness of the color and it feels very smooth and light weight on the lips. I also absolutely love the scent, I love it so much. The only thing I don’t like about this is that it tends to bleed on the sides of your lips, especially when it’s humid outside. I’m not sure if other users are experiencing the same thing but that’s what happened to me. Maybe next time I’ll put on just enough so I can see if it will still bleed (after a few minutes) since I used too much the first time.
Note: You might notice the color of the product is dark brown or brownish red before you apply it, but once you apply it to your lips it will change to a reddish pink color.
Overall I love them both, they’re a little pricey for those who are on a budget but I think they’re worth buying for your personal use.
